We are experiencing the major cycles of 2021. Throughout this year Saturn will be squaring Uranus. Astrology shows us when these two giants’ aspect we are living in a pivotal time in history. Almost as if history changes direction so fast that we find ourselves disoriented not knowing on which side we stand, are we coming or going? The old (Saturn) and the new (Uranus) are at odds. Saturn, the Time Lord, symbolizes limitations, the status quo, established structures and maturity. It embodies that which has contained, sustained, and supported life. It is the bridge from spirit into matter, into form. Uranus, the Great Awakener, is progressive, rebellious, innovative, and shattering. It holds an unbridled impulse for radical change, and freedom at all costs. It enlivens, challenges, and defies containment. It electrifies, and resonates through fields and fractures structures and systems with overload. It's planet Aquarius rules trauma, think of the body's nervous system. As you can see, we have been experiencing these dynamics for the last year well before the perfections that are happening this Feb. 17, June 14, and Dec. 24, 2021. As these Titans clash, in the outer world, and our inner being, it is crucial to remember we need both for growth and evolution. The old always supports the new. We stand on the shoulders of the ground breakers that came before. We might all agree we want change, but each person will have a different idea of what that may look like. Therein lies the challenge. We see it reflected in the news and our interactions with others every day. We have just had a peak at what radical change at all cost can look like, without consideration for what was it’s not a pretty sight, and crazy making to understand. his is a lower vibration of the Saturn/Uranus energy. We want to raise the vibration by doing our work to take reasonability for our lives. Stop looking for something or someone to save us and take our place of belonging as caretakers to our descendants, and our planet. Proceeding from a place of maturity and connection to what sustains life offers the grounding to navigate the wild astrological weather of now. In this way we can liberate the past to serve us, and awaken the present for a new era to unfold. For those of you that have personal planets in Leo, Aquarius and Scorpio, Taurus take special note. This year will work everyone to rise to the occasion but these signs will have a personal relationship to these energies.
