President Obama tells Everything we Wanted to Know about Pluto in Capricorn but didn’t know to ask.

At this time of tremendous change it will serve us to utilize every tool to stabilize our journey. Pluto in Capricorn, Neptune in Pisces, and Uranus in Aries are our tour guides and we would be wise to learn to engage with the highest expression of their potenial.

​I was preparing a post on the higher attributes of Pluto in Capricorn and realized President Obama wrote it for me in his Farewell Address last night.

President Obama was our Pluto in Capricorn president who first ran for office as our Pluto in Sagittarius president.

Pluto the planet of death/rebirth and transformation is the leading astrological energy of change and transformation with Uranus and Neptune pulling their equal share of the load in this process.

Pluto in Sagittarius holds the optimistic, expansive vision of what may be even in the face of everything that would oppose it.

In his final address last night it was clear that he is closing his presidency now deep in the Pluto in Capricorn time period; there was a focus on real world accomplishments, and eloquently preparing us to bear witness to the harsh realities of climate change, fear, prejudice, and exclusion.

 “So let's be vigilant, but not afraid.” - Stay vigilante but not fearful. This is Pluto in Capricorn mantra. As is responsibility, Pluto in Capricorn has the ability to respond from a deep grounded place of reason, and common sense. It is Uranus in Aries that offers up the traumatizing reactivity that have been experiencing.

President Obama has always been a proponent of citizens taking personal reasonability. Capricorn and its ruler Saturn love that.

“Show up. Dive in. Stay at it.” How many times have we heard of the hard work ahead. “Embrace the joyous task we've been given to continually try to improve this great nation of ours. If something needs fixing, then lace up your shoes and do some organizing.” No Neptune in Pisces slacking here, this man knows how to honor the potential of Pluto in Capricorn and be in its service. We would do well to follow his lead.

Obama courageously walked the deep and arduous path of Pluto in Capricorn avoiding the Trance of Neptune in Pisces, and the Traumatizing Reactivity of Uranus in Aries.

We now have our Pluto in Capricorn directives. It is from this demanding but centered place where we will find stable ground beneath our feet in the years to come.

The desire to trance out, deny, escape, react, fear, and polarize will be stronger than ever.
